"Douglas Chin was born and raised in New York City. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the State University of NY at Buffalo State, he spent the next 5 years at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX as a cancer research assistant supporting new techniques with the intentions of aiding Gulf War Syndrome veterans. In 2007, he received his professional diploma from a graduate-level acupuncture program at The Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine, New Jersey’s first school of acupuncture and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM)."
